Make a tax-deductible gift in honour of Mr. Gary Doer, OM, the 2024 recipient of the 16th Annual Duff Roblin Award and add a personal message* to include in the legacy book given to our honouree. Your donation helps UWinnipeg students, the campus and downtown community continue to flourish.
Please choose from one of the three funds to support:
Duff Roblin Scholars Fund: Created in honour of Manitoba's 14th premier, Duff Roblin, this fund provides Graduate Fellowships for students in UWinnipeg’s Master’s in Development Practice: Indigenous Development and Master of Arts in Indigenous Governance programs.
Opportunity Fund: The Opportunity Fund supports Indigenous students, new Canadians and refugees, and students from inner-city neighbourhoods. The goal of this fund is to bridge the graduation gap and support a university-bound identity for everyone.
Wii Chiiwaakank Learning Centre: A public outreach centre dedicated to serving both students and the neighborhood that surrounds the university's campus, the Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre’s primary focus is to offer educational and cultural programming with an emphasis on Indigenous knowledge.
If you would prefer to make your gift over the phone, please call 204-786-9995.
On behalf of the many students your gifts support, we are grateful for your donation. We look forward to celebrating with you next year!
