Mennonite Studies
Support innovative research in Mennonite history at the University of Winnipeg.
KGB Research Fund: This fund supports helping Mennonite families find out what happened to their loved ones during the Great Terror and building an archival collection that will allow researchers to analyze and interpret how Stalinism affected Mennonite communities.
Professorship in Russian Mennonite History: This campaign honours the late Dr. Paul Toews, historian of the Mennonite Heritage Cruise. The goal is to raise $3,000,000 to establish a professorship that will give leadership to sustained research and community programming in the history of Mennonites in Russia.
Dr. David Friesen Fund in Mennonite History: This fund supports research, community outreach, conferences, and publications of the Interdisciplinary Coordinator and Research Chair in Mennonite Studies. Mennonite Studies is an interdisciplinary program, combining history, religion, culture, and literature as they relate to the Mennonites in the past and present.
