13^th annual Wesmen Golf Classic

The Winnipeg Wesmen annual fundraising golf tournament is entering Year 13 of helping our student-athletes achieve their goals in competition and in the classroom.

Wesmen Athletics is pleased to announce details surrounding its 13^th annual Wesmen Athletics Scholarship Golf Tournament. We will gather at Rossmere Country Club on Thursday, August 25^th in support of the Wesmen Scholarship Fund, a major driver in helping the U of W athletics department provide financial assistance to its student-athletes.

Wesmen Athletics pays the university approximately $150,000 each year to help cover tuition for Wesmen student-athletes and all of that is raised through fundraisers such as this annual golf tournament.

Registration is open to play in the tournament and attractive sponsorship opportunities are also available.

A number of affordable options are available for individuals or groups. A single golfer can register for $219 plus tax and will receive 18 holes, a cart, breakfast, food stations at holes, gifts and special contests that include a 50/50 draw, raffles and auctions. A group of four can register for $876 plus tax.

The Texas Scramble will tee off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. and a 9 a.m. on-course registration.  We are promising beautiful weather, good fun (especially if you bring friends with you) and a fantastic day on the golf course raising money for a tremendous cause while having a chance to win some great prizes.
