12th annual Wesmen Golf Classic
The Winnipeg Wesmen annual fundraising golf tournament is entering Year 12 of helping our student-athletes achieve their goals in competition and in the classroom.
Wesmen Athletics is pleased to announce details surrounding its 12th annual Wesmen Athletics Scholarship Golf Tournament. We will gather at Rossmere Country Club on Thursday, August 26th in support of the Wesmen Scholarship Fund, a major driver in helping the U of W athletics department provide financial assistance to its student-athletes.
Wesmen Athletics pays the university approximately $160,000 each year to help cover tuition for Wesmen student-athletes and all of that is raised through fundraisers such as this annual golf tournament.
Registration is open to play in the tournament and attractive sponsorship opportunities are also available.
A number of affordable options are available for individuals or groups. A single golfer can register for $219 plus tax and will receive 18 holes, a cart, buffet dinner. A group of four can register for $876 plus tax.

Due to the Covid-19 health pandemic and the government health regulations on gathering size, we have two Texas Scramble tee times. We will try to accommodate registrants' requests for preference of start times.
The Texas Scramble will tee off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
An on-course registration will take place at 9 a.m. and a light breakfast will be served.
To avoid large gatherings indoors, instead of a sit-down dinner we will be offering premium food stations on holes throughout the golf course.
The tournament is a chance to interact with Wesmen athletes and win some great prizes while enjoying a day on the beautiful, sprawling 6,400-yard Rossmere course.
