Jake MacDonald Writers Fund

The Jake MacDonald Writer's Fund

The friends, family and peers of Jake MacDonald have generously created the Jake MacDonald Writers Fund at The University of Winnipeg. This fund will support hosting an annual writer in residence through the Jake MacDonald Writer-in-Residence Program at UWinnipeg, benefiting writers from across Canada, students at The University of Winnipeg and the surrounding community.

While still in the early stages of development, the Jake MacDonald Writers’ Fund has already received support from a host of friends, family members, and colleagues. Those who knew Jake and valued his work are keen to see this fund grow at UWinnipeg. The University of Winnipeg is beyond grateful to be able to be a part of continuing Jake’s legacy in this way.

We look forward to announcing the details of this fund to everyone in attendance at the future Jake MacDonald Tribute and Fund launch. More information on the fund and launch party to follow.
