U of W Collegiate Alumni Association Endowment Fund
An exciting and historic milestone was achieved on September 14, 2022, when The University of Winnipeg Collegiate Alumni Association became a reality. The Association is an independent body dedicated to fostering an engaged community of alumni and students who want to keep alive the unique and powerful experience of a Collegiate education, and aid in the promotion and longevity of the institution.
As we celebrate The Collegiate’s 150th Anniversary and look towards the future, The Collegiate Alumni Association has established the Collegiate Alumni Association Endowment Fund, for the purpose of sustaining a strong and active Association in perpetuity. Funds will support new alumni programs, events and activities designed to nourish alumni pride, enhance affiliation with The Collegiate, and create a fundraising platform that will continue to serve our Collegiate community.
In order to annually sustain the Alumni Association, a minimum of $300,000 is needed. Chair of the Association and a committed Collegiate Alumnus, Bob Stuebing (Class of 1965) is committing $175,000 towards this project; $50,000 in seed funding and the remaining $125,000 will be used to match donations dollar-for-dollar.
