“THE MONTROSE TRIO IS OUTSTANDING!”

Big Wow!  This trio is just so wonderful. Superbly superb.  I hope they will be able to come again. (SP)

It is magnificent to have performers and a performance of such calibre, right at our doorstep.  A phenomenal evening of music. (Anonymous)

Fantastic! This trio played as one. Dvořák – Each change in tempo from a beautiful cantabile that would melt a heart of stone to a rousing Slavonic dance! A great opener for the season!  Schubert always writes great melodies, but this Trio would make any melody wonderful.  The balance is perfection as is the emotion projected.  A most delightful concert.- (VH)

Enjoyed the Dvořák immensely.  Precise and spirited.  The Schubert was lyrical but drove to the finish, and with clarity.  Jon Kimura Parker’s talk was coherent and welcome. (GM)

Excellent concert–very much enjoyed the pre-concert talk.  Please continue these talks! (Anonymous)

Incredible lyricism in the Dvořák. Lovely. It sang.  I didn’t recognize the crime series theme in the Schubert.  Conclusion: I don’t watch enough television! (MT)

Thank you for another wonderful concert.  The Montrose Trio is outstanding! (VG)

The Dvořák was so well done!  Mr. Parker is a wonderful pianist and the violin and cello equaled him.  A well balanced Trio.  I would like to see them back. Schubert–Wonderful! What more can you say? I enjoyed the 3rd movement–masterful, so joyful. A wonderful opening night. Then (the) Mendelssohn also. (HT)

Wonderful energy–such precision and expression. A delight!  Thank you. (JC)

Respectful, joyful and beautiful delivery–both solo and ensemble. (PH)
