Fresh from an extraordinary marathon performance of all 5 Beethoven concerti with the WSO, virtuoso powerhouse Alexei Volodin plays an all-Russian recital on the stage of Virtuosi Concerts. Born in Leningrad in 1977, Volodin has been in strong demand around the world ever since he won the 2003 International Géza Anda Competition in Zurich. Reviewing his stunning Canadian debut (2017) in Montreal, Le Devoir reported that “…it was more than perfect…his intellectual bearing makes one think of Rachmaninoff himself!”
